What a Week

I know I'm so behind on my blog!! I can't find my camera and I haven't exactly had the energy to search, I just got over another yucky cold.
I did have a hard week, I haven't felt the babies move and at first I thought I was just busy and not paying attention so last Thur I really started to focus and I felt nothing!
I talked myself out of going to the Dr but over the weekend my anxiety just got worse, I mean, it's not my first rodeo so I know what to expect and with two shouldn't I be feeling double time??
Monday morning after I took the kids to school I headed to my Dr's office.. he's in surgery on Mondays but just wait here and I'll get his assistant. So while I'm waiting I start to feel really silly for being there and think maybe I'm overreacting and I should just leave. The assistant comes out and states that she can hook me up to the monitor but she is not legally allowed to read me the results and that I should head over to Labor and Delivery to be monitored. I told her no, I'll just come back when my Dr is back in the office and she said no way, go to L&D and I'll call to tell them you're coming. No leaving now!!
Good grief so as I'm walking over there (right across the street) I'm hoping they don't call Dr. Ott out of surgery for nothing and I'm embarrassed and worried at the same time so I start getting misty eyed when I told the nurse why I was there.
She starts to console me which makes me worse and tells me I can't take JJ with me so she'll just call Dr. Ott and see what he wants to do.. No way, I told her, I'll just come back when she informs me that she's not letting me go until we find out what's going on. Great.....
So she goes back to her desk behind the double doors and comes out 2 min later and says Dr. Ott is at my desk! He's in between surgeries and he'll take me to the office and do an ultrasound.
So this sweet guy comes out the door in scrubs and a smile telling me no worries, we'll find out what's going on and hopefully it's nothing serious.
I'm crying and don't know if I'm more embarrassed or scared lol!
Long story short.. sorry for the babbling ;) He puts the probe on my belly and my 2 sweet boys are kicking and punching away!! The placenta is in front and blocking me from feeling them! WHO KNEW?!?!? I sure hope it moves because that is my favorite part of being pregnant, feeling the baby move!!
Wow, sorry for the long story but what a great day I had after that visit!!!

NFL Draft

How sweet would it be if this little hottie could go to AZ????? I know, won't happen but a girl can dream right?

Did you see his Superbowl commercial with his mom, it was hilarious!!!

I can't wait to see what's ahead for him.... GO TIM!!

Boy o Boy!!!

Drum roll please.............. Can you believe two more BOYS??? Oh my gosh! I was so sad for Brian, he's wanted twin girls since he discovered he can be a dad!
We of course are SUPER excited and can't wait for these little guys! A friend texted, holy cow 5 missions!! When I told another friend he said cheaper than 3 weddings!!! True True ;)
Baby "A" seems to be the more dominant one already, he's always on top ready for pics and the little baby "B" was totally squished on the bottom!
The top right is a profile of baby "a" and baby "b" is looking right at us with his little skeleton face.
We got a good look at one of the lips and there was no cleft so we are staying positive. The UltraSound Tech said in 4 weeks she'll do a full ultrasound with measurements and we'll know for sure about the clefts.
Lets see, we've heard Jayden, James, Jesse, Justin.... what do you think???
EEEKKKKK.... Can July come fast enough???? ;)

Bday

We celebrated Brian's birthday in Vegas on Saturday night ;) We went to Chuck E. Cheese's!! My kids have never been and after watching the commercials on tv for the locations in SLC they were so excited to go!!
I had a picture of Brian on a little mechanical horse but it got lost somehow ;( it was so cute!
Brian was in Vegas on Friday and I stayed home so Dave and Kristie took him to Hooters for dinner...
"The girls were not very cute but I must have been hungry because the food was so good!" LOL! I love my hunny bunny so much!!!

First Prediction!!

Aunt Brittany made her prediction about our little ones ;) Lori went to Mesa last week and brought these back.. They're so tiny it makes me want to hold my babies!!! March 11th is the big day so we'll see if she is correct!!
Brian and I are hoping for two girls but we'll take healthy ;)
Trust me, they'll be LOVED no matter what!!

Condo

Uncle David and Aunt Kristie (dabid & pirstie to JJ! ) bought a condo in Vegas two weeks ago and we have been going down doing some demolition!!
This is Brian's element! He got to knock down walls, tear out cabinets, destroy a bathtub etc etc....
We have been having fun seeing family again and we're so excited for them to have their own place!! JJ loved capturing the day so I had to delete a few (I use that term loosely!) pictures ;)

ENT

JJ has a hard time sleeping and when I took him to the pediatrician for a well check the dr said his tonsils were HUGE! He recommended taking him to an ENT to get his opinion about sleep apnea and whether to remove the tonsils or not.
He was such a big boy and opened wide ;)
The Dr said to monitor his sleeping habits for 1 month and then report back to him. Do I really need to stay awake all night and note when he snores or kicks in his sleep????
I do have to say he is a horrible sleeper and when he sneaks into our room he keeps me up anyway. He either bangs his foot so loud or he kicks the wall or dresser, whatever he's by.... good grief!
I do like the fact that this Dr did not jump at the chance to remove tonsils right away. I'll see what happens next month!
