Memere & Pepere

These are my grandparents! They live in Gilly, Belgium and Mel and Ryan are lucky enough to get to visit with them!
Isn't that the cutest smile from my pepere? He is 90 years old!! I love it!

This is Jacob's project his class did out of salt dough... he did a really good job!!
Brian was able to go to the school and help the kids make the foundation and put on a base coat. Then over the next few days the teacher had them add the details.
He was able to bring his masterpiece home today ;)

Let's Go Racing!!

We LOVE going to visit the Thompsons in Santaquin! Uncle Brian has a race car in his garage that he is building for himself to race and the kids had a great time with my camera!!
I actually deleted some photos.. they thought it necessary to take a picture of every single part!!
Notice Jacob, Joey, and Emilee are doing the "Kyle Busch" victory?? That garage had the kids busy for hours ;)
Pretty soon we'll be shouting "Go Uncle Brian!" at the racetrack!!! WA-HOO!!!!

Salt Dough

Jacob had a project at school that required I make some salt dough.. of course we made extra!! JJ, Haylee, and Kenadi had fun making stuff and JJ thought it was hilarious that the girls were making snowmen :)
Ahhh, the simple things in life!

Regata Races

A few weeks ago the boys had Pack Meeting where Jacob got his Bear badge and 3 arrows, 1 Gold and 2 Silver!!
He was stoked to say the least!!
After the award show we went to the river to race boats the kids made. We thought it was all to spec like the pine wood derby's so we went and got kits, well little did we know it was all for FUN! Kids had some out of bottles, and whatever else they could think of.
We still had a blast. The boys came home soaking wet from playing in the river and it was a good time.

Dirt in the Diaper

My friend took this picture a few weeks ago and the boy had slipped down a little hill and had dirt in his diaper. He would not stop picking it until he got it all out lol!!

No Fear

While we were in Santaquin this past weekend they had a carnival! The kids were so excited ;)

We started out on the Ferris wheel to see how the kids would do.. Haylee and Emilee (who's 10) went together and I thought for sure Haylee would freak!! She had her hands raised almost the whole time!

I'm so mad I forgot my camera back at the house so my grainy phone pics will have to do.

They had a huge slide and a zipper and lots of fast spinning things that my little Haylee couldn't get enough of! Talk about a daredevil! Her and Emilee were the most brave and went on everything!

Jacob and Joey went on most but Carri and I left early (the mall closes at 9!) and we took Jacob with us...he was as white as could be poor guy!

When we all met up again at the house we found out that Joey lost his dinner lol!!

All in all it was another AWESOME weekend!! Thanks Thompsons!!! xoxoxoxo

oh yea, we spent Saturday making jam and berries, I came home with about 35 jars!! YUMMY ;)
