Virgin River
The kids asked to play in the water and Brian had a better idea so we headed down there and the water was about 85 degrees!!!
We found frogs and rocks and then the kids got hosed off when we got home ;)

Farewell
The confidence they had testifying about the truth of this church and the work they will be doing was amazing and I'm so glad to have been a part of it. It was also great to see the family and spend the day with everyone.
Grandma & Grandpa are going to be wonderful missionaries and we are all so proud of them!!
Jaegen
Happy Birthday Jaegen, I hope you had a great day! Thanks for letting us eat some of the yummy Krabby Patty your talented mommy made, it was yummo!!!
Pack Meeting
We had pack meeting last Thursday night and Joey got his first award; Bobcat! He was so excited and very cute! The gal had Brian hang him upside down while I pinned the pin on his shirt then she painted a paw print on his cheek which he then transferred to my check and it was so cute!!!
It was so nice to not be in charge but to just enjoy the boys ;) We played games and had cookies... of course Haylee and JJ just go for the food!!

Father's Day
We love our daddy so much! He is the best dad ever and we love him with all our hearts ;) The kids all made him a little card and treat and Jacob wrapped up his corvette car and gave it to him because they know how bad Brian wants a corvette!
Happy Fathers Day to all the great dad's out there!!
Camping
For Father's Day weekend we planned a camping trip to Kolob Reservoir. We have never been there but Brian took the boys somewhat that way for father's and sons campout and wanted to try it out.
We of course had a blast! The boys got right on setting traps for the animals, top left picture you can see the cheese ;)
They went on hike after hike and of course JJ was without shoes, my little Mowgli!! The kids are so good about entertaining themselves and they are so sweet to each other.
We love camping as try to go as often as possible... I hear Grand Junction Co. has some good spots we need to check out! ;)

Serving the Lord
So at 4:30 yesterday we threw the kids in the car, dropped Jack off at his mom's work ;) (she was close to being off anyway!) and we drove to Vegas. We were so excited the whole way but luckily the trip seemed fast.
I so wish I had pictures but I forgot my stinkin camera! They are going to......
Louisville Kentucky!!! Brian's mom was sooooo relieved it was not overseas lol!!! When they got to reading the letter it announced their check in date at the MTC.
JULY 13th!!! Three weeks and 4 days ;)
How absolutely exciting!! They have dreamed about this forever and we are thrilled that is is finally happening!
We are so proud of you Grandma & Grandpa!!!
We love you!!!

Jacob
He is such a hard worker! I caught him in the backyard on Friday pulling weeds and picking up toys and watering the grass...don't ya love the glasses???He wanted to ask around the neighborhood if he could pull weeds to earn some money;)
Brian took him to work Saturday and had him and Joey unload/load trailers. The highlight of the day? A mouse with babies under the wood!!
Summer Fun
I love summer! I also LOVE our new house, we are in the middle of a street that is in the middle of a subdivision that has NO traffic!! What a change from the main road we were on! Our neighbors across the street have kids our age and they are in the same classes at school so it works out very well.JJ has a turn on this Power Wheels Jeep and he did pretty good for his first time ever!! His friend is so good at sharing he let JJ and Jack both drive.
Meanwhile the girls were collecting bugaboos... little flying bugs that are black and green. Nice...

Joey's Baptism!!

We had a GREAT day on Saturday!!! We had family come in from both sides and it was really good to see everyone ;) You don't realize how much you miss someone until you see them again!!
Joey was the cutest on stage singing his favorite primary song and had a huge smile for everyone ;)
We had a great dinner at Roberto's , yes mexican food but with 30 people it turned out to be the easiest! We filled the restaurant lol! It was a great dinner and a fun little reunion for all of us.
It just wasn't the same eating at Roberto's without Dave and Kristi!!
The next day I asked Joey if he still felt good and he said, "The same as when I got the Holy Ghost" with a huge smile on his face. Brian gave him a great blessing and felt really good about the whole day.
We love you so much Jo Jo!!!
A HUGE thanks to everyone who came!!!

Family Reunion

Last weekend we had a Nevitt family reunion at my dad's house in Payson, AZ. It was so much fun to see everyone!! We all took tents and slept on his porch! Ha!Well, Mel did have the rv, but the rest of us roughed it ;)
We played a family game of softball, played a little football and of course ate some good food. Ryan even talked the kids into a watermelon eating contest!
The weather was perfect even if a storm blew over for about 1 hour and it was an all around good time!!
Thanks for coming everyone!!
Joey
Joey has a tooth coming in way up high and completely sideways and straight forward. I know sounds weird but the Dr's always told us he would have problems with his teeth where the cleft was.The tooth was cutting into his lip and making him sore so I took him to the dentist today to see if we should pull it. The orthodontist that is working with him had taken xrays about 4 weeks ago and said we'll probably lose it anyway but he wants to try to bring it down.
The wonderful dentist really, I love him!, said we need to do anything we can to save it and he suggested pulling the two baby teeth on the side to make room then we'll deal with the others when they come in.
So Joey got a little laughing gas and about 7 shots that were painful to numb it then out they came! I was cringing and holding his sweaty little hands. The Dr felt horrible that the shots hurt so much, you could see it in his face.
He also gave me an antiseptic to apply twice a day and some gauze to help keep his lip away from the tooth so the lip can heal. He said there is so much scar tissue on his lip that it is catching the tooth so that's why it's cutting.
My poor JoJo!! He is such a trooper and I made sure he got some extra loving today and a rootbeer float to end the night!!
Now let's just hope the tooth fairy doesn't forget ;)
