Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?!?!?

Holy cow was this weekend awesome! Not only was it our anniversary on Saturday but we got to spend the morning in the Salt Lake Temple where my "adopted" lil sis got married!! I cried of course, but it was the best day!!

She was beautiful and the clouds broke just in time for her pictures... it was so much fun to see everyone and I can't wait to get together for some fun.

Sherri and Russ, we'll plan a game night for sure!! It was awesome to see you guys, you're so much fun! So sorry we didn't see ya before we left, we should have planned to drive home together!!

Best Dad Ever!!

Look what these boys built today!
I pulled up and saw this huge box in our yard. The boys have been asking to build a clubhouse and have drawn plans for one almost everyday.
They put blankets for the floor, and they even took trophies out to put on the "shelf"
We put a tarp over the top for a roof and stocked them up with cookies and otter pops ;)
Jacob said they are having a bake sale every day until they earn enough for a mini fridge!

How cool is their dad?? We're so lucky to have him!

My sweet baby boy came running in the house with his pants unbuttoned...
"Mom! I peed on the tire!" insert laugh here
"What?"
"Mommy, I peed hahahahah"

This little stinker literally peed in my garage!

Let me back up a bit. About 2 months ago we were at the yard with Brian getting some stuff for work and JJ had to go, ssooooo I let him pee on the truck tire ( Dave, the international haha! ) and he thought it was so funny!
Well now it's my fault right??

Haylee turns 6!!

My little princess had a birthday! I'm so behind but just know that I love ya so much anyway!!
Last Wednesday was Haylee's birthday and like the usual bday's in our family it lasts more than one day ;)
On Wed we went to Cici's pizza with the family in Vegas and got home around 9 or so to find Kristi had driven up to surprise Haylee for her birthday!!
On Thursday we had a friend party planned and we went to Paul Mitchell hair school for updo's, nails, and a fashion show!
The girls had a BLAST! I was thinking ok 2 or 3 girls will be fun and by the time it came around Haylee had invited 7!
While the fingers and toes were getting painted they had Hannah Montana blasting in the room and the girls were singing and dancing.
When Haylee was getting her toes done she climbed on that table and hiked up her dress, she's such a lady lol!

When they were all pretty, they had a chance to "strut their stuff" for the staff and they were so embarrased! It was the cutest thing ever ;)

Daddy of course made a cute cake for his baby girl and we ended the party with Karaoke and presents.
She got a tea set, see the boys having a tea party with her?? It was the cutest thing and they had three more the next day. Why were they being so nice to her? Tea parties come with cookies lol!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAYLEE!! We love you so much!!

Bake Sale

The boys have been begging to have a bake sale to earn money to buy matchbox cars so one day we humored them.
They had brownies, cookies and lemonade.
That's Carson with them and because his mom cuts hair from her house everyone who got their hair done bought something so the boys were excited ;)

Kyle Busch - 18

We had this picture taken by my sweet sis-in-law, ;) I just got it in an email and look how cute it is!! We were in Las Vegas at the Bullring and Kyle Busch was sweet enough to autograph shirts and take a snapshot with us!
The boys STILL have these shirts and when the ink faded, they retraced it with a sharpie!!

One tidbit about Kyle... he is the best driver in Nascar right now and he also drives the #51 truck for a team and guess what?? He gives all his winnings back to the team! Isn't he the sweetest?!?!?

Clouds

I love clouds and when it rains. I took these pics on the way to Kolob. Can you see the blue and green?? In the top right you can see it best but the whole sky was so cool and colorful!!

When the boys made nametags Haylee had to join in ....she was embarrased when Jake told her it was backwards and insisted it wasn't. I went into her bathroom and found her looking in the mirror to check her letters!!
JJ told us on Saturday that he wanted a bumbumbee cup from Burger King.
I absolutely LOVE my kiddos!! ;)

Kolob

Friday afternoon we went to Kolob Reservoir ... yes we LOVE camping!!
We really stink at fishing but we always have fun and this time Jacob caught a lobster lol!!
JJ and Haylee were in weird moods and kept laughing and laughing at who knows what.
We always have a blast when we get to hang out together around a campfire!!

Jake's Bake

Last week Brian and I were going through the kids boy scout books and a few of the requirements were to plan and prepare 3 meals and camping stuff. So one day Jacob made breakfast and lunch and dinner for everyone!
Joey was a great helper, they even made menus!!

Two days later Jake had a closed sign up and an out of business sign on the wall. When I asked him why, he said he was tired of cooking and cleaning up. This boy is so much like his momma!!

Auntie

This is my Auntie that lives in Vegas .. and her new bo!!! He's only 93 and she's late 80's..don't they look good ;0)
They go shopping together and she makes all his meals. I'm so excited for her to have someone to take care of, she's such a giving person and loves to help.
He says they will come visit in August so we will see ;)
Brian thinks it's so funny that she looks exactly the same as she did when they first met 12 years ago.

Family Night

We rotate who is in charge of family night and last night was Haylee. She had us take turns reading a story from the Friend then Jacob and Joey put on a skit.. Joey was a thief and Jacob was on patrol with his K9 ;)
We all got a kick out of it especially JJ, he ran and tackled Joey when he was down and the dog was "biting" his neck!
JJ had to pose holding one of the props.. what a nerd lol!!

Stratton Family Reunion

Over the 4th weekend Kristi and Eric planned a family reunion before Grandma and Grandpa leave. It was amazing to see everyone! Out of 25 grand kids, only 1 was missing. Casey is in Brazil on a mission.
Kristi had the whole weekend planned and it was FUN!

We all met at Fazoli's on Friday for lunch then headed to Old Nevada and the petting zoo.

On Sat we had swimming and pizza for lunch with yummo homemade ice cream then we headed to Aliante for awesome fireworks.

On Sunday we met at Mt. Charleston for a BBQ and a hike. Not just a piece of cake hike either! It was 2 hours, 1000 ft elevation change to the top of Cathedral Rock.
Lori had the greatest idea of bringing playdoh and beads for the kids..
I didn't bring my camera to everything but when I get more pics from everyone else I'll post.

Big Helper

Brian was changing the brakes on his work truck the other day and JJ was so cute! He didn't leave his side, lol! Brian would undo the lugs and JJ would finish either unscrewing them or putting them back on, and he would refill the water bottle when it got low. It was so cute I wish I had my camera sooner. The concentration on his face was priceless!
