ENT

JJ has a hard time sleeping and when I took him to the pediatrician for a well check the dr said his tonsils were HUGE! He recommended taking him to an ENT to get his opinion about sleep apnea and whether to remove the tonsils or not.
He was such a big boy and opened wide ;)
The Dr said to monitor his sleeping habits for 1 month and then report back to him. Do I really need to stay awake all night and note when he snores or kicks in his sleep????
I do have to say he is a horrible sleeper and when he sneaks into our room he keeps me up anyway. He either bangs his foot so loud or he kicks the wall or dresser, whatever he's by.... good grief!
I do like the fact that this Dr did not jump at the chance to remove tonsils right away. I'll see what happens next month!

Mittens & Blitz

These two are so cute together! They fought at first because they are both young, but now they wrestle and chase each other around the house ;)
Mittens has quickly become Brian's baby... In our neighborhood last summer we had 4 sets of kittens roaming the neighborhood, all of them named "Oreo" by the neighbors. Well, Jacob brought one home from every litter and got shot down but for some reason this little lady melted Brian's heart ;) She is so relaxed with the kids, especially JJ. He hauls her around slung over his shoulder and she just goes along with it.
The funniest part was when we were given the doggie and they would wrestle whenever Brian was around Mittens would cry and Brian would get mad at the dog and get him away, well, when Brian is not looking she pounces the dog!! She has him wrapped around her little finger that little drama queen lol!

4D of both

These are the little alien babies in 4D!! The one on the left of from the head looking down the belly and the one on the right is the face with an arm right in front. They are totally goofy looking but such little angels ;)
They both have strong heartbeats of 164 so things are looking good!!

12 weeks 5 days!

Our babies are ok and thriving!!!
It has been a stressful last 4 weeks waiting for this day but they are ok!!! The one on the bottom was hilarious... he/she kept jumping and arching his/her back and it was the cutest, then at the end it put it's hands behind its head and kept opening its mouth like it was drinking and smiling. The one on top was upside down the whole time and just relaxing... she tried to she if we had boys or girls but the cords were right there lol! She said next time for sure ;)
From bum to top of head they are 2.5 inches and we are in LOVE already!!
Oh yea... they crave Jack in the Box tacos! I can honestly say they because I've never eaten them because they always look so gross lol! I have given in to them on two occasions... what can I say, I love to spoil my babies!!!

My Country

Joey brought home a paper from school today that was titled "My Country"
He had to write about what his own country would be like.

The name of my country is called Cardinals. My flag's name is Cardinal. The colors of my flags are: red, white, yellow. The red means pure awesomeness, the white means freedom, the yellow means no mustard in the country. The rules are #1 No MUSTARD allowed!

What a total nut! He puts mustard on all the time!
Sometimes that boy makes me wonder ;)

Reactions

It has been so much fun telling everyone we're having twins!! We were just going to keep the pregnancy secret since ya know, it's our 5th and it only matters to us anyway, but oh my gosh! We are on cloud nine!!
It was truly exciting and endearing to hear how happy everyone is ;)
Ryan offered me $5000 if he could get pick of the litter lol!!
Sweet Haylee grabbed my water bottle the next morning and hesitated:
"Mom, can I still drink after you?" HAHAHA!! She cracks me up!

Thanks for all the support and well wishes, I'm still feeling really good (thank goodness!) I can handle queasy ;)
Next appointment is Feb 10th so I'll keep ya posted!!

Post of The Year!!!

Blankies Blankies, Bottles Bottles, Binkies Binkies, Oh my!!!

Well, Brian and I love kids right??? HaHa, yes we are having another one, BUT not just one..... TWINS!!!!
How excited are we??? I am 8 weeks 6 days today and feeling so good! Usually by now I'm so sick I can't even function but I've only been a little queasy, yea!! ;)
The staff at the Dr's office was laughing at how excited I was. I think I yelled loud enough for the whole place to hear!!
When I first got there Brian was outside with the kiddos and the ultrasound tech said, lets get a quick ultrasound! Sounds good to me!! She put the probe on my tummy and said "Um" right before I yelled "There's TWO??" I then told her to stop and called Brian in, she was such a good sport and went to the waiting room to get him.... his face was priceless ;) He was in absolute shock and had the CUTEST look of disbelief I've ever seen!!
They are measuring 1" long and have good strong heartbeats of 176 & 185!! The dr said to be careful for the next 3 weeks so we don't lose one or both ;( so don't think for one second I will feel guilty about propping up my feet!
We told the kids last night and they are so funny, it took them forever to guess what the surprise was, how many times before they come do you think we'll hear "Is it time yet?"
Telling our families and good friends was the best part of last night, It is awesome to hear how excited they all were and I was teary eyed through all 7 calls and numerous text messages ;) The funniest part was when I said "they" a few of them seriously freaked out.. they thought the picture was two images of the same baby.. it was so much fun!!! I'll keep ya updated on the news and the growing belly lol!! Good grief, I'm really in for it now! ;)
