JJ Jack JJ

No it's not a typo ;) we have 2 JJ's!!! Jack's mom has a friend that needed part time babysitting and asked if I'd be interested, and of course I say ;
Well sure!! What's one more right?? Part time is perfect!
He is a total cutie and yes his name is JJ also, too funny!! We have had sharing issues but that comes with the territory. Brian even went and bought two more trucks with trailers so they can each have one and they fight over the same color!!
His mom called the night before and said her hubby was going out of town for 3 weeks so for the next little bit could I keep him all day?
Sure, why not?!
Well, it has been interesting with 2 three year old's that I can at least somewhat reason with and a 2 year old that is so emotional he cries and screams at the drop of a hat. He's lucky I love him so much! Life is so fun ;)
I have been so busy I have barely been on the computer this whole week!
I'll let ya know if I'm still alive or if the boys are ;) in a couple of weeks lol!!

First Day of School!

Yea, school's back in session! I loved school and reading and all that fun stuff so I love it. I also loved my summer, don't get me wrong ;)
Can you just see the excitement on JJ's face? It broke my heart, that little boy thought he was going to school! We got him a backpack because he was so excited and he did not take it off that night before school!
This morning he insisted he get a lunch in his backpack with a capri sun like the others and when we walked, he walked/ran the whole way to school!
Fast forward to Joey's class and he put his backpack in a cubby and tried to find a seat ;(
The teacher and I both had to tell him, not this time you go home with mommy today but he did that in Jacob's and Haylee's class also!
I let him hold my camera and that distracted him enough to get him out of there. We went to lunch with the kids and they were happy. I love seeing my kids happy!!
I'm so grateful we have such good teachers again this year!!
Jacob, Mrs. Cantrell- 4th
Joey, Mrs. Winger- 3rd Jacob's teacher last year!
Haylee, Mrs. McFarland - 1st
We heard rumors about Haylee's teacher and were really worried but I spent some time in class today and I think it's going to be great ;)

Rec Center

Joey's orthodontist had an annual pool party for all the patients and family AND friends at our rec center.
Holy cow what a crowd! Brian figured there were at least 2000 people. They had pizza, ice cream, and drinks.
We love this place and the huge slide is so much fun ;)

Bleached

So the boys have been begging to "go blond" since they saw Race to Witch Mountain forever ago. Well, Brian caved and decided to let them do it. Why we didn't cave at the beginning of summer and not a week before school starts I'll never know!
The color was cheap and didn't turn out right so Kristi bleached it and let's just say JJ is not my little blondie anymore!!
Everyone we see has the funniest reaction "whoa, look at that hair!"

On Sunday Joey asked, "Mom, how come you don't want anyone to see our hair?" LOL!
I then felt really bad that I made such a big deal about it and told him that I loved it but it's just a shock because it's so different. I need to watch my mouth, I don't ever want my kiddos to think I'm embarrased of them!
Haylee and JJ thought it was funny to wear the bags so they had to join in ;)

Shall we say.... LESSON LEARNED!!

"Babysitter"

Give the boy a light and a bowl and he is in Heaven!!! I can't believe how much he loves this little key chain. He's always hooking it to his pocket thinking it's the best!

Joey

Joey went to scouts and made a rocket.. he was so proud!! Sadly though, it fell soon after he brought it home and I only had the patience to put it back together once. I told him that it's ok because we took a picture!!

Pirstie & JJ

This week we have been lucky to have Aunt Kristi stay with us while she helps a friend at work.
JJ will not leave the poor girl alone! ;) When I tell him to leave her alone he tells me;
"Mom, I'm fine!" or "I'm ok!"
Pirstie as he calls her, just laughs and takes him along. Poor Josie, her sweet doggy, has to fight for momma's attention ;)

Our house will be boring when she's gone....
Thanks for hanging out Kristi and watching the kids for date night, you're the best!!
